The Herald is written by one person, so email is the only way in and replies can take a few days. Everything sent here does get read.
What's most useful to send
- Corrections. If something in an edition no longer matches what a game actually does, name the edition and the game and it will be fixed.
- A game worth covering. One line on why it deserves a place is more persuasive than a list of titles.
- Disagreement. If an edition got a game wrong, say so. That is genuinely useful.
What the Herald can't help with
- Accounts, purchases, billing or technical support for any game. Those go to the game's own developer or to your app store — the Herald has no connection to any studio and no ability to act on your account.
- Lost progress or banned accounts, for the same reason.
- Advertising, sponsorship or paid placement enquiries. The Herald does not accept them, so these will not get a reply.
Press and permissions
Quoting an edition with a link back is fine and needs no permission. For anything more substantial, use the address above.
Where the Herald is written
Manchester, United Kingdom. There is no office and no phone line — this is a one-person weekly page rather than a company, so email is genuinely the fastest route.
