What "free" actually costs you in time
A free game is rarely free of demands — it just charges in a different currency. This week, three games and the shape of the commitment each one is quietly asking for.

Hill Climb Racing 2
Physics driving · Fingersoft
The gentlest ask on the list. Runs are short, you can stop after one, and nothing punishes you for disappearing for a fortnight. Vehicle upgrades give it a spine without turning it into an obligation.
The skill it teaches is throttle restraint, which is unusual for a driving game. Most people lose early runs by accelerating on exactly the slope where they should have eased off.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang
Team battle · Moonton
The steepest ask. A match runs about fifteen minutes and leaving partway through lets four other people down, so the real unit of commitment is not "a game" but "a clear quarter of an hour". Plan around that or it will frustrate you.
Set against that, it is the most genuinely strategic thing we cover. The decisions that matter are about map position and timing rather than reflexes.
Roblox
Platform · Roblox Corporation
The hardest to predict, because you are not choosing one commitment — you are choosing a catalogue and then choosing again inside it. That is a genuine strength once you know what you want and a genuine obstacle when you do not.
Treat the first session as browsing rather than playing. Nobody's first Roblox experience is representative of the platform.
